Will Apple Update the Magic Mouse?

I have no evidence, it's just speculation. But I would anticipate that any next generation Magic Mouse (or some other form and name) would address this with continuous near-field wireless charging, using a dedicated powered mouse mat.

I disagree. While Logitech has that kind of a setup (which works quite well), any next-gen Apple mouse will, I'm betting, use MagSafe for charging. Which means don't plan on using it while charging, either.

That said, I think Apple has lost the willpower to design a new mouse. Some executive there really likes the Magic Mouse and he or she simply refuses to go through with a redesign.
