I will tell you this, Hospitals, Urgent Cares, Doctor's Offices, Paramedics, and EMT's, all wrap their blood pressure cuff around the upper arm, preferably the left arm, and with a stethoscope we listen for the systolic and diastolic pressure. I don't think I want a watch telling me I am stroking out when I am not.

BP monitoring would be huge, but honestly even the existing health data like HRV and recovery trends feels underutilized. Most people have no idea what to do with the numbers Apple Watch already gives them.I am moving back to the Apple Ecosystem after years of trying to various levels of success. Are there any rumblings of the AW getting blood pressure monitoring in it like the samsung devices have?

While on the subject of monitoring I have something to tell all of you. As a Paramedic I live with A-fib. I also have a Watchman implanted upon my request. That is an entire whole different story that I won't get into, but with the A-fib I want to make sure I monitor my EKG on my watch as well as Heart Rate and O2 Saturation. Now, one day as I am performing a 12 lead EKG on my patient, I had to shave his chest to get the leads to properly adhere to the chest and record a signal. It was then I took a razor and shaved my wrist area where my watch goes. I figured the same concept applies for both applications. I also make sure the Apple Watch sensor is always cleaned from smudges and dirt. It seems to be working just fine.
