Will Creating Bootable USB/DVD Cause The Lion Partition Not To Install?

Hi,

So I wanted to do a clean install of Lion on a DVD, but I heard rumors that if you do that, then the 10 GB recovery partition that's installed is not included. Can anyone share their experiences if that is true or not?

The recovery partition isn't 10Gb, its 650Mb.

It installs. The partition is 800 MB, BTW, not 10 GB.
