Will Google Analytics & Blog Work at the Same Time?

I recently added Google Analytics to my website using the following directions: http://echoone.com/automator/google-analytics/GoogleAnalytics/Google_Analytics.html

After Google Analytics was added, the "comments" button and the comments themselves on my Blog disappeared. How do I get my comments and Google Analytics to work at the same time?
