I have not heard of any deal that Apple and HMV have in this regard. And I know quite a few managers from HMV.

HMV and Amazon are already partners and since Amazon will carry the shuffle online that is as far as its going to go.

HMV will not carry it in they retail stores, its quite steep even at 99 USD.

Then again its a bit early to say anything yet, things might or might not change down the road. 🙂

In Canada, Amazon and HMV are partners, but I'm not too sure about HMV in the UK. HMV in the US has it's own online store. They're also not too popular in the US, but they're huge in lots of other places.

If they sell iPods and iPod mini's at HMV in Manchester, then they might sell the Shuffle. Personally, I have never seen an iPod or Apple product at any HMV in London, so I find the Manchester thing quite strange.

I know that HMV is not popular in the states, however its got a great following around the world.

I know in Canada HMV and Amazon are partners, and wasting too sure if the person asking the Q was just visiting UK or living there. Oh well. 🙂
