Will I be able to copy files from ntfs to mac os x Snow Leopard?

So i'm getting my first Mac tomorrow, and i'm going to switch from using iTunes on Windows to using it on os x. My question is the title... will I be able to copy my library off of my ntfs formatted external hdd to mac os x. I understand os x can't write to ntfs.... only FAT32..... so yah... help greatly appreciated.

OS-X can natively read NTFS, so you should be able to import your library fine.
