Will I be able to set my 24" monitor as primary display on my new 17" iMac

Bought a new 17" Intel iMac, largely because it now supports my giant monitor.

Tell me though, will I be able to set that as the primary display and keep the 17" screen as auxillary?

this would be using a mini DVI -> DVI adapter by the way

if it works anything like a powerbook and second displays, it should. You just have to open displays in system prefs and under arrangement drag the menu bar from the top of the representation of the iMac display to the other display. I imagine its all a software thing rather than a hardware one, so it should work the same way.
