Virgo macrumors 6502a Original poster Sep 6, 2013 #1 I want to sell my iPad 3. My iPad 3 runs on iOS 6. Before selling, I want to back up to iTunes. I plan to get an iPad 5 in a few months. The iPad 5 will run iOS 7. Sooo. I was wondering will my backup be rendered useless?
