I have been using my Apple Watch Series 0 for the past four years and am thinking of picking up a Series 5 today. My biggest issue is the voice to text has degraded significantly. I used to have about an 80% success rate on my first attempt but am now at more like 10%. I have it paired with an iPhone X and am using Watch IOS 4.3.2. My work environment is somewhat noisy buy it also does not work too well at home. Thoughts?

I can't tell you how significant the difference will be between Series 0 and Series 5 because I have 2 and 4. What I can say is the Series 4 voice to text is quite good and it's not too bad on Series 2 either. Both of my watches are on 5.3.2 at this point. That could be a factor if you're on OS 4.

As an aside from voice dictation, you should notice a definite speed improvements with apps loading and screen size as an obvious improvement.

It will be like all your birthdays came at once, the difference will be huge. Improvements in every area possible. You will not regret it.

Seems kind of obvious through basic research/pictures you should ‘notice the differences’, you’re talking a matter of five generations of Apple watches. The biggest contributor is the new display size and the S5 chip that’s in the Series 5 is light years ahead of the S1 Chip that was in the first GEN watch.

I also upgraded from a Series 0 to a Series 5 and the difference is very small.
Of course it's much faster, the screen is bigger, much brighter display, many watch faces look great on the fullscreen display, better battery life, always-on-display, 50m water resistant, better and louder speaker, better microphon, Siri raise-to-speak, compass, fall detection,...
So as you can see, almost no difference. 🤷‍♂️ ;)

Thanks for the responses. I have not set it up yet but picked one up from Costco earlier today.
