I'd expect so. It should be released around September this year.

Your guess is as good as anyone else's. A new iPhone will most likely lead to a new version.

Yeah I'd think that we will at least see it in June of this year, preview style. Hopefully it'd ship in the Fall some time.

I'd expect iOS 6 to move away from the pages of application icons in the current GUI and towards widgets and folders (without limits). Especially for the iPad.

Talk of widgets seems to get down votes on this forum, but I'm sure Apple will do it in a way that'll work well.

    I hope so too.
I think a major overhaul of iOS would be in order. The App store grew much faster than Apple anticipated so we have vast amounts of apps and a rather primitive OS.

And sure enough you received a -1… *sigh*

I hope too there are widgets on the front screen, or at least the ability to add widgets to the notification screen as there is already with the Stock and weather ticker.

Widgets wouldn't be very hard - the same mechanism as OSX.

    Jailbreak and use winterboard/dreamboard skins.

You shouldn't have to jailbreak your phone for these type of things. Apple needs to update IOS.

I can't - iPhone 4s! Otherwise I'd have jail broken already! Only interested in untethered.

You can already turn on a dark UI in Settings under Accessibility.
