iPad Will IPad bought in France be ok for UK

Will be travelling next week and thinking of buying iPad in France from official Apple store - I’ll be using it at hone in UK

can I set it up to use British keyboard and language etc as British

also if I buy AppleCare with it will it cover it worldwide especially at home in UKif it was bought abroad ?

Yes. AC is worldwide. As is the first year of warranty without AC.

Should be no problem. The standard warranty and AC can usually be used in any country that Apple does business in. While not worldwide pre as the list should be long enough.

It’s getting trickier potentially if you buy a cellular device to use in a different market.

Won’t the iPad come with the European plug and not the three prong UK plug?

I know it’s not a huge deal to buy a UK one but it’s extra money to spend on something that’s normally included though.

Worth considering anyway.

I think iPad are more expensive in France, btw no problem at all with AppleCare since it is worldwide and you are going to live in a country (UK) where Apple is officially "present".

Only if you can read and write in Francaise!!

Still curious why exactly you want to buy it in France rather than one of Apple's many UK outlets or third party resellers?

It is much cheaper in Geneva - sorry this is in French speaking Switzerland and not France !! Tax is only 7% vs 21% in UK - same for MacBook
