Will iPhone 5S be up for retail price on pre-orders?

This is my first time ever pre-ordering a phone, just wondering if we would be able to pre-order for full retail price rather than new customer price only?

And also do y'all think apple will live stream the event? I really hope so.
 
Apple has been live-streaming on ATV I believe.
In the past, I thought full price for the phones were not available right away. I could be wrong.
 
You will be able to order it full retail but it might not come factory unlocked.
 
If you have an existing account you will be able to order full price or device only. No problem. :cool:
 
I'm in the same boat, but i'm on at&t.

I've been told by several people from various places that you can pre-order at full price it just won't be unlocked. And if not, I guess we'll find out when pre-orders are available.
 
I know it's traditionally been available at full price only a few months after launch in the past, but I think this is the first launch since many of the MVNOs and T-mobile became official iPhone partners, so I wonder if maybe it will be different this time. I'm hoping to never go on contract again. Can wait a few months if I have to, but would be nice if Apple offered it from day 1.
