will iphone 6 transfer at usb 3 speeds ?

I've only seen 'rumours' that it might -
but nothing on website to specify :/

also ... found this info about usb 3 devices...
it also states near the bottom, that usb 3 devices use thicker cables ...
wonder if iPhone 6's lightening cable is any thicker ? hmm

People on here claim that the flash storage inside the iPhone is the bottleneck, so that's why they only support USB 2.
