iPhone SE (2016) Will iPhone SE have tap to wake?

Does anyone know if Apple mentioned tap to wake for the iPhone SE?

On one hand the iPhone 8 didn’t have it, on the other hand the XR and 11 do (and all three screens are LCD).

Just wondering if it’s been mentioned or discussed anywhere.

I think it is only available on devices without a home button.

Likely it will have Lift to Wake as it’s a Touch ID model.

Tap to wake on the Face ID models.
