it depends on where you type, but yes it just have some in certain areas, depending on the app and orientation

is anyone concerned with the bezel around the camera chipping or getting all scratched up over time due to contact the table surface? Can anyone who rocks need iPhone 6/6s comment on this?

I assume you meant naked 6/6s :p

I indeed go case-less for my iPhone 6, the bezel around the camera is pretty strong on both the iPad pro and 6. its more so getting the lens scratched or damaging it by setting it down on a table or in the car plugged in or in an out of pockets. so far hasn't had too many issues since its handheld but the protruding lens on the iPad Pro kinda sucks with certain apps/orientation

I only ever used the smart cover (and a flip open sleeve for travel to family) for normal use. Either its landscape mode for Dota 2/twitch viewing or its in flat mode (with smart cover on ▲).

I asume the camera is completely off the 'ground' when in ▲ mode? Seems to be close with my ipad 4. I asume the height and angles are still the same.

I agree. I mean, if you slam it down it could chip, but just setting down on a table and writing on it or using it isn't going to chip it.

As for wobble, I can assure you that it does not wobble when laying flat on an even surface.

I bought one today.
It doesn't "wobble".
Honest review.
Still I have a feeling you will not believe me so, please, do me and everyone else a favour and pop into an Apple Store and try by yourself.
Take care.

I believe you. And I think anyone can try this with their current 9.7 inch device. A dime is over the thickness of the camera's protrusion (and wider, too), so put one of those on a flat surface like a glass, then position your iPad carefully so that it's centered where the camera is normally (or tape it to your device, but that's extra work :)

You should find like I did that there's a very minimally recognizable wobble. You can press on the other top corner and you may say AHA! IT FLEXED!! but it's really by a very tiny amount and only in that top corner. Since the iPad lying face up is weighted towards the bottom of the device, pressing on the lower corner on the same side of the dime yields no movement at all (it's already as close to the surface as it's going to get.

In checking this out, it works that way on the iPhone 6+ too, but the distance from where you're pressing down to what WOULD potentially rise up PLUS the flexibility of the larger device means that opposite side doesn't raise by enough to "tap" the surface when you release. You can hear a "tick tock" when you do this with an iPhone, not so much with the 9.7 inch device. Also remember, a dime is thicker and wider than the protrusion, so I would expect that the effect on an actual 9.7 iPad would be very tiny indeed.

BTW, if you try it with a quarter, you get closer to what you'd call a wobble, so I'm more convinced now that it's really Not A Problem. It just SEEMS like it SHOULD be.
