    Hi,

I don't have an iPad, but I'm trying to work out whether I would be able to use one for my work...

All my working documents have been created in iWork (desktop). I need a way to read and edit these on the go. Could iWork.com be the solution?

    1) If I upload a document to iWork.com on my Mac, is that document then available on my iPad?
    2) If I use my iPad to open a document on iWork.com and make changes, are the changes reflected on iWork.com?
    3) If I don't have a WiFi or 3G signal, can I still open a document stored on iWork.com, assuming I have opened it previously (in other words, does the iPad iWork app store a local copy?
    4) Assuming I don't want to share my documents with others, is there any advantage to using iWork.com over syncing documents through iTunes?

    Thanks for your help!

    Steve.

Yes, but you need to go into safari on the ipad to download it, you cannot get it directly from within the ipad app.

They are if you export it back to iwork when you are done with it, but be careful as it seems like even the simplest of formatting seems to trip it up a little.

Yes, it can store a local copy

    4) Assuming I don't want to share my documents with others, is there any advantage to using iWork.com over syncing documents through iTunes?

It is marginally easier to keep things in sync via iwork as it is less overall steps to take it on and off the ipad
