will latest mac mini support two monitors? 1st plugged into display port & 2nd through hdmi....?

Yup, sure will. Sadly, though, the maximum is just two monitors, even though the latest Mini sports both an HDMI port and two Thunderbolt ports. (Note: you should be able to either use the HDMI port and a Thunderbolt port, or plug two monitors into the Thunderbolt ports...)
