3rd Gen Retina iPad was the last to feature the 30-pin connector and am wondering if the EarPods with Lightning connector will work on this iPad when connected using a 3.5 to Lightning connector? This is for my grandpa who is still rocking his 2012 3rd Gen iPad w/ Retina.
