Will Lightning headphones work w/iPhone 6?

I need a new cable for a pair of Shure SE 535 earphones. Shure will be releasing a Lightning version with mic and audio controls soon. I anticipate getting an iPhone 7 or 8 sometime in the future, but was curious whether Lightning headphones would work with a pre-iPhone 7.

Yes, Lightning headphones will work with any IOS device with a lightning connector as long as it is running IOS 10.0 or later.
