This may be a no brainer, but I was going to see what all suggestions you all had.

I currently have a windows desktop, but i just recently ordered a macbook pro (comes in in less than 2 hours :) ). I also ordered Adobe creative suites through the apple store discount promotion. My question is, since it is labeled as mac software am I only able to run it on my macbook pro and have to buy a windows version also for my desktop?

unless both versions of the software are on a single install disk (which the creative suite isn't, iirc), then no, sorry.

yes you will need a windows version for your desktop computer.

rarely dev's ship both products on the one disc, notably blizzard, with warcraft, startcraft, WoW, etc all coming on hybrid discs.

i'm 99% sure that adobe products will require different discs for the install.
