Will my first gen Unibody Macbook play 24/64 audio?

Flac-High Definition is the file format and I was wondering will it play it through the optical port? And if so is there any settings I need to change to get 24/96?

Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup

Highlight the "Built-in Output" to the left and see if there is a 24/96 option. If there is, the optical output will output 24/96.
