Yup, we used to send folks up to the bridge for emergency phone calls, as long as we were close enough to shore for a good signal from some towers.
All three of my boats were "first flight" 688's with fairwater planes on the sail. It's just weird to me to see a sail without them!

I work on submarines every day and your phone will not work. Well, it will function but it will not get signal. That's if you are on a real sub with an all steel hull that's up to 4" thick. If you are going on a tour sub they often have large portions of the hull that are plexiglass to allow the tourists to see the ocean so you may be able to get signal then. How about you try it and then tell us what kind of sub you go on and if it works or not.

Or are you mad now because I suggested that your believe the moon landing was a hoax, (which by the way is believed to be a hoax by a much larger percentage of people then the Fort Knox is empty story is), or do you not believe we landed on the moon, and are mad I brought it up?
