Will my iphone survive without the Invisibleshield?

This is going to come off sounding like I am making a wise-a$$ statement, but have you tried putting the phone in your pocket WITHOUT keys? Seems that would solve a lot of your problems. The phone WILL scratch, but it certainly is FAR more resistant to scratches than anything plastic.
 
I would never, ever get an Invisibleshield. Have you ever looked at someone's phone a few weeks after they have had one installed. It starts peeling up and just looks trashy.

I said the same thing to a friend of mine who has one the other day. I just told him you have to get that thing off. It just looked ridiculous.
