Will my Mac last longer?

I have a late 2009 Mac. Never had any problems with it. All I use it for is YouTube, games, surfing the net. I never use it for professional reasons. If I upload pictures or songs, I transfer the data to flash drives. I still have 450 GB available.

Will my Mac last longer than someone who uses theirs in a more professional way, using all the options available to them in their Mac?

Your Mac will last as long as any other Mac, i.e. as long as you feel like using it until it needs to be replaced.
