will my matt apple cinema display work with newer mac mini

I am considering getting a 2011 with lion or newer mac mini, & I looked at images of it's ports, but notice no dvi display port, just thunderbolt & HDMI.

how would my older 20 inch matte apple cinema display connect to the mac mini?

if I need adapters, what ones should I get?

would it work? or is this display compatible with the newer mac mini's?

if you add thunderbolt peripherals later, the display simply goes at the end of the chain.
