Probably just the 6S / 6S plus, they didn't say anything about it working on older models.

Yeah, it doesn't seem like there is any hardware it is tied to that isn't available in the 6. But I think we would have seen it earlier in the iOS 9 beta process if it was going to come to older models.

I agree yes. Just had a little hope :)

and yes makes sense, but i am sure a button on screen would do same job. not a fan as yet of the 3dtouch, more then happy to tap :p...

    all ways to force upgrades.

You'll be able to view live wallpapers on other devices. Not sure how you do it though since on 6s you force touch for it to play.

It should work. It's basically HTC Zoe that's been on 2-3 year old HTC phones already.

It should be available to all. An iPhone 5 could do this, no sweat. That is a bit off putting if i'm being honest.

It honestly feels like most of the new 6S features could easily function on the 6 and 6 Plus even without the 3D Touch screen

That would really be upsetting, The front flash (screen) and Live Photos, I can see that easily being inserted into new IOS - don't see the reason in you having to buy a brand new phone for that (I would LOVE "Live Photos" personally)

But yeah...nothing was mentioned about the IOS at all except it comes out next week.

The front flash has some piece of hardware they showed that lets it be 3x brighter.

Its all software, not hardware. If they did it on the 6 and 6+, its less of a reason for people to upgrade...
