Will new iMovie work on iPad 1?

    Any thoughts or titbits? I might have to upgrade if not...

    A new iPad just for a lackluster editing program? That is a pretty ridiculous IMO but if it does work - it will be much slower on the single core cpu - for now we have to assume that since the iPad is capable of outputting 1080p that it at least has 512MB RAM, so it will again be slower and laggy.

    You would have to have some way to get video into iPad 1.

    I have lots of videos on my iPad via the camera connection kit.

    I suspect the iPad's 256 MB of RAM will be the deal-breaker.

    I am wondering the same thing about GarageBand.
