    If so when?

What Intel chips will it likely to get?

Sigh... another thread. Read the other threads. Maybe the mods should merge all Broadwell/Skylake/8K retina iMac/21.5" 4K display anticipation threads into one big thread.

It's very unlikely non retinas will get a refresh. Possible, but unlikely. Like everything else Apple release, as soon as retinas come in, the non's get phased out. You can almost guarantee come October, you'll have 4 different 5k options and 1 non retina.

Never. It will go down the path of the non-retina MBP - not refreshed and left to die.

Given that they effectively downgraded it when they did the most recent iMac refresh I doubt we will ever see it again.

There will likely be one for sale on the store for some time to come, like the non-retina macbook pro, but it will never be updated and eventually will disappear.

It's a shame, since it was an almost perfect machine. A hard drive/SSD door and a Maxwell GPU was all it needed to be truly outstanding.
