Hello,
I had two iPhones set up to both receive messages using their respective phone numbers. When I received an iMessage it would appear on both. Both on iOS6.
One was a work phone which I recently wiped (from the phone settings) and then returned as I left the company. They obviously still have the SIM and the phone number and will re-use everything for another member of staff.
I'm worried that my messages might still be being received on that phone, especially as a number of articles mention iMessages being sent to stolen/sold phones.
Can anyone shed any light? Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere - I did check but didn't find anything.
Cheers.
