Will Snow Leopard support IMAP IDLE?

Everybody's been complaining about the iPhone not supporting IMAP IDLE for push email, but what I want to know is if Snow Leopard will support IMAP IDLE. Does anybody know? I know that there is a plug-in for the Mail.app but GrowlMail doesn't work with it installed.
