Will someone please help this guy??? (Halo for Mac OS X)

This guy seems to have very bad luck, and a particular situation from what I can tell. He is trying to install halo on a new G5 with tiger, but... it's just not normal. It's not like it's complicated, it's just that I'm completely lost.

Anyone wanna give it a shot?

Well Halo's installer is a self contained Stuffit InstallerMaker application so you are right in saying he doesn't need OS 9. However those are carbon applications, you should ask him to get the info for the application and uncheck the open with classic checkbox even though i have no idea how it would be check in the first place. This honestly seems more like a defective disk or a pc version of Halo. BTw the application name of course is "Halo Installer" on the CD I have.
