However you’d have to continually swap the cable between the work computer and the Mac. Unless anyone knows of a hub/adapter that can make this seamless?

Right now I am ordering the studio display and an LG ultrawide and keeping the winner.

There are many articles from today saying that apple announced that it is going to work with windows! very excited about this. Can finally use an apple display for all my devices (apple and non-apple)
