I would also like to know. I'm inclined to think that only the iPad Pro models will qualify for the multitasking features, despite the new iPad only launching a couple of months ago.

A user on Reddit said the Air 2 has all the Pro features announced today (barring Apple Pencil stuff) so I'd bet it does.

I'm excited they didn't drop us from the new features. I was seriously considering upgrading to a Pro, and still might with a decent Best Buy discount, but if my Air 2 has all the latest features I might stick with it until the 2nd gen 10.5 or 3rd gen 12.9.

They'll probably have it. Just need to use your fingers (or a cheap, inaccurate capacitive stylus) instead of the Apple Pencil.

I have an active Bluetooth stylus (Adonit pixel) which was not cheap - £70. I doubt I could use that instead of the Apple Pencil though.
