Will the air pods wireless charging case work on any QI charging pad?

Unknown, but I think the fact they're not releasing it until the AirPower mat is available implies it only works with AirPower.

O'come on.... I don't see the implication and it would be a mistake, as the iPhone itself charges with aftermarket wireless chargers.
