Will the Bumper stretch if I remove it daily?

I have several old (wide) 30 pin connectors from old iPods and iPod car chargers that I often use to charge my new iPhone 4. But these plugs will not fit through the hole in the bottom of the bumper. I do not want to cut the bumper or use a Dremel to enlarge the hole.

Will it stretch or wear out the bumper if I remove the bumper every day to charge it in my car or plug it into a dock?

My guess would be yes, after time it would stretch out if you removed it daily.

It will almost certainly begin to loosen up a bit.
