    nah, it's gonna have to have at least an 8-core procesor at 3.2 GHz and 8gb of ram. Sorry, you're outta luck.

    lolz that sounds like Spec Nazi. I believe 4gb ram should run lion just fine. after all you can still run snow leopard just fine on the earlier macbooks (well powerbooks are dead).

    Well considering Lion is now in the process and no new MBP have been released or anything besides a speed bump on the processor and the new processors really aren't that great I dont know why you assume it wouldn't work on month old machines since Lion is "suppose" to release summer 2011. Now go play on your mac and stop looking for reasons to post stupid questions, if you would have thought about it you could have gotten an answer yourself...

    It doesn't take alot of horsepower to run a bunch of icons with some cool transitions and a glorified expose dashboard launch pad spaceship thing as was mentioned.
