I'm really curious about this and eagerly awaiting iOS 27. I absolutely hate iOS 26. It was the most problematic and inconsistent iOS version I've ever seen.
Pretty sure that myth was debunked a long time ago. All the logs generated on your device are the same, the only difference is you can't opt out of collection during the beta. So you are uploading some small text files to Apple when the device is charging on Wi-Fi, but everything else is the exact same. There is no final code cleanup and never was. Just one of those persistent myths. It will also be filled with debug code that will render it much slower than RC and final builds.
Macrumors has around half a million members who could also state 'I'm very interested in these topics', but most would be happy not to be an engineer.I think I should be an Apple engineer; I'm very interested in these topics.😂
I LOVE it when people complain that they can't get their work done or can't access something they need while on the beta software.Whatever you do, if you choose to download the beta, please don't come onto the forums, unless you accept the risks involved in using a beta, and the likelihood that things won't always function, as they do now.
