I'm curious. iPad Pro seems like it can run two full office apps at the same time, but what about the Air 2? Will it be limited? The press releases don't really make it all that clear to me.

iPad Air 2 can also do 50/50 split screen so I think it'll be the very similar, if not the same.

Well, the difference is basically that multitasking will be way more useful and comfortable on bigger screen.
While on iPad Air 2 you get something like 2 iPad Minis side by side when multitasking, the iPad Pro will give you screen area of iPad Air for both apps.

Seems like a waste of 4GB DRAM and 12.9" to limit it to only 2 split view apps. I'd like to see 6 or more.

Here's 6 apps (2 browsers, file manager, Nokia HERE offline maps, Twitch.tv and movie playback) on 3GB DRAM 8".
