Hard to say. It’s 50-50. Regardless, it will run like crap if it does support it. 6s may run iOS 13 acceptably, or it may not. A10/iPhone 7 and newer are likely to be okay perhaps but with terrible battery life.

I strongly hope it doesn’t. It’s time to move on from the iPhone 6, it was released in 2014 for heavens sake

But I don’t think this is the attitude to have, because this is what makes iOS so special, is that it is supported for a long time for those who don’t care to upgrade from older model iPhone. I mean, why would you care if Apple supports it one way or the other? Does it affect you if somebody chooses to use an iPhone 6 that supports iOS 13? Also, take into account, do you realize how many iPhone 6’s are still being used as of today? (Even the 5s is still being used today) I still see them in public more than I do any other iPhone model, other than the iPhone 7.

This makes no sense whatsoever. I have an iPhone 6s on iOS 9 that rivals any new iPhone in performance. The iPhone 7 is working fine on iOS 12, with awful battery life, but performance is great. It isn't useless. Not new doesn't mean useless.

Apple generally supports their Mac products with software updates for 7 years?

iOS support has changed a lot over the years. 2007 iPhone was only supported for 3 total years to iPhone os 3.xxxx. Same with the iPhone 3g (3 total years)

iPhone 3GS was supported 4 years.

iPhone 4 4 years.

iPhone 4s was supported 5 years. Fall 2011 to fall 2016

iPhone 5/5c was supported 5 years ago fall 2012-fall 2017

iPhone 5S (a7 first 64 bit Apple mobile processor) fall 2013- fall 2019?? I suspect iPhone 5s end of life support for sure. That’s 6 years of software support from release date.

iPhone 6 A8. I suspect will last one more year.

So 6 years mobile processor support now. Almost the same as their desktop/laptop support.

6S and 7 are very different to the 6, and I would expect those to be supported for several more years

I disagreed with you saying that the phone had to stop being supported because it's old. I agree that Apple should stop supporting them when they aren't powerful enough to work properly.

The Only thing ‘different’ aside from the features and capabilities, is the 2 GB ram on the 4.7 6s/7 (And 3 GB on the 7 Plus). That’s what made the 6S and 7 more sufficient for future iOS updates.

TrueLaley Sister so true and agree with u. Just like what u said is the same as iPad 3 and iPhone 5S are super different to the iPhone 4S why? Because of Extra ram. Lol at you, but iPad 3 did not get iOS 10 even it has the same ram as iPhone 6. Its also sad that iPhone 6S is just like iPhone 4 story, lacks extra core unlike its predecessor has four times the core thats why it didnt get iOS 8 even it has same ram as 4S. Theres also a rumour that iPhone 6S and below wont be getting iOS 13 (even 6S has the same ram as iPhone 7 same story just like iPad 3 right) besides iPhone 7 and newer has at least quad core. While iPhone 6/6S and below are just like 4S about the same dual core same ***t Hahaha at you

Wrong. 5c debuted in 2013 not 2012

Also it was supported for 4 years not 5

I consider iPhone 5/5c the same phones. Couple of lte band changes. But that’s all. Thus it support ended the same time.
