I cant believe 3 years ago Verizon TURNED DOWN Apples offer...that was probably their worst decision up to date
Ugh. Another one of these threads? To answer your question, I'm speculating an announcement by Apple in September. It's possible they'll be adding two carriers to the mix; T-Mobile (almost instantly - end of Q3) and Verizon (beginning of 2011 - January). Sorry, Sprint. You're a long shot to begin with. Just my $0.02.Do you think the iPhone will go with Verizon anytime soon? Why or whynot?![]()
Verizon seems to be doing ok without it.
If there is ever a Verizon iPhone, it will be LTE rather than CDMA.
4G LTE is only data. You need a fallback network (CDMA/ 3G) for voice.This. Why invest making a CDMA iPhone only to have to redesign it next year to use LTE?

Because 4G is only data, you would still need another network for voice, which is why you would still need a fallback 3G network (for now). It's just how it's laid out. There's always somebody saying this. Why?
Yes. OP, please search first. Thank you.Reported this thread. Huge repost of 1,000 other threads on this same crap subject.

He/ she doesn't realize that you'd need both networks. Yes, I understand why you're questioning it.Which is why I question the statement....
