will the iPhone OS 3.0 update have all the features?

I own an iPhone 3G ...

the new iPhone has amazing features that we've all been waiting for..

when you go to www.apple.com/iphone, you see a lot of the features that will be included in the OS update...


However, there was no sign of the video mentioned ...
does that mean the camera will still be the same ol' camera? no auto-focus and video abilities?

I know that if you jailbreak the phone you are able to have those features.. but I have not yet jailbroken it..

will it be included? 😕

im pretty sure that you will not see video on the 3G via this update

i know that you will not see autofocus, because the 3G does not have an autofocus lens. can't change the hardware with a software update.

it's kind of disappointing ... lol... it hasn't been a year since I bought my iPhone and now they get one out that has obvious features that lacked in the previous version *such as video recording* that every new phone should have..


ah well. lol.

Thing is, in order to get a higher quality video on a 3MP camera, there's going to be some kind of custom & serious number crunching that the app/os has to do. I suspect the higher cpu speed and new dedicated graphic card must have something to do with it.
