Will the iPhone wireless charging work through a case?

Hello. Can you please confirm, if the iPhone 8 wireless charging will work with the official Apple leather case? Thanks.
 
i had the same question and I asked android Qi users and they said yes, something like 4 cm it works through up to. Cant confirm though.
