It's a really old game with low graphics so I imagine it's not a taxing game hardware wise. I was just wondering if anyone had tested it.

Don't underestimate the MacBook because of its clock speed. It's incredibly powerful for what it's worth. I've seen people being able to export 4K footage without much lag on this thing. If you're running the OS X version (assuming it's compatible to begin with), nothing to worry about. If you're running the Windows version, then on VM it also should work decently, but on BootCamp it won't be a problem at all.

Haha I love how specific this question is. It most likely will run it just fine. Although keep in mind you probably won't be able to max the game out (ie: highest resolution options and graphical fidelity). I assume the game will work better on Windows via bootcamp than OSX though.

From www.rollercoastertycoon.com:

-----------------------------------
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS MAC

OS:10.8.5 (Mountain Lion), 10.9.5 (Mavericks), 10.10 (Yosemite)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (Dual-Core), 2.2 GHz
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 256 MB ATI Radeon HD2600, Nvidia Geforce 8600, Intel HD 3000
Hard Drive: 2 GB
Peripherals: Macintosh mouse and keyboard
-----------------------------------

These almost 10 years old system-requirements compared to the rMB:
- The lowest Core-M Processor available in the rMB kicks the core-2-duos in the a$$
- Intel HD 5300 Graphics is much higher rated than the HD-3000 (almost triple)
- You get faster graphics-RAM with 5x of the required capacity
- You have much faster RAM and 4x as much as required.

So it should be playable really smooth on a rMB at medium settings or higher.

PS:
I Play Alien:Isolation (a Game released in 2014 with demanding 3D-Graphics) on my Macbook (1.3GHz) and getting 15-20 FPS. (of course all graphic-settings are on lowest)

I'm not corrupting my Mac with Windows!

Fantastic, i'll give it a go later. Thanks! :)
