The only MagSafe charger I have tried is the one built into my Ford Escape. I won't use it because it makes my iPhone get very hot. It could be a fault in the charger or it could be the fact that I have a protective case on my iPhone.

I don't know what I am missing since I don't use it. The same goes with backlit keyboards.

I feel that the Neo is going to be successful for its intended market. Time will tell.

Interesting, so nobody thinks the missing MagSafe will be a problem?

No, because the risk has been eliminated for years already. Charging carts or stations are used at school, so nobody is charging with a cable across the floor. This also minimizes the number of chargers lost. Schools and workplaces with modern furniture have charging towers or desks with built-in receptacles. Again, nothing touches the floor.

MagSafe is really a relic for places where the furniture and fixtures haven't been updated.
