Just wondering if the new 11" Macbook air will get a bigger memory? the 128gb now is not enough, also hoping that it would have 3g built in, now that would be the perfect laptop.

Magic Eight Ball says "Try again later."

kidding aside -- no knows for sure what the MBA refresh will bring. We have a pretty good idea, but we don't know for sure. I don't personally see 3G being added.

I agree... I doubt 3g will be added this time.

Though I'd love it if they did!

Yes.

My friend's uncle's dad's co-worker's brother's sister-inlaw's son's girlfriend's teacher slept with an Apple employee and he spilt the beans on the new MBA.

I hope they bump the base amount of RAM to 4GB, but they probably won't, at least in the $999 11" model.

As for 3G I would prefer not unless they have some kind of shared data plan coming out. I'd rather not pay another $60 for another 3G plan for my laptop when I have a $45 tethering plan on my iPhone.

3G is not happening, if Apple did that they would have to add extra hardware inside already cramped space and make it compatible with multiple carriers.

Tethering is a better way to go
