Will the new imac's use the mini displayport?

    i thought apple wanted to phase out the mini dvi out.

    It is a strong theory that all Mac's will eventually get mini-display ports.

    Apple has a history of different video connectors and they tend to spread thru the lineup.

    yea probably... they want a uniform display output across the entire lineup.

    Better than good chance that a new Mac mini will use the new Mini DisplayPort.

    as long as the mini displayport -> vga/dvi connectors work without crapping up my tv's/monitor saying that it's not an authorized display then were fine.

    Considering that Apple said they will use the minidisplayport on all their macs, I'd say its a strong bet the Mini will have one.
