Like the Title says How many of you guys think that the new iPad Air-3 will have a 4GB RAM ?

If it really is to be an essentially shrunken down iPad Pro, there's probably a better than average chance that it will.

But it's nigh on impossible to tell with Apple, particularly as there have been no actual leaks of the device itself. So anything until it's announced is pure speculation.

I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath. If it takes on the Pro name it seems quite likely and be awesome.
I guess we'll find out Monday

Does anyone have the correct URL to watch the Apple event live on an iPad or an iPhone ? I every time mess it up and then struggle last moment to get it from somewhere !!

My bet is on yes. And only because of the iPad Pro. The number of iPad Pro's sold is properly quite low (for Apple numbers) and therefore developers are going to make apps a priority for it, their target platform is iPad and iPhone, it is where the money is. Those have 1-2GB of RAM, so they aren't going to make apps that require 4GB. They need to get those platforms to 4GB so the developers makes app that use that potential.

The cynic in me predicts the following:

iPad Air 2 / iPad Mini 4: 2 gb ram, A8 processor
iPad Pro (9.7"): 3 gb ram, A9 processor
iPad Pro (12.9"): 4 gb ram, A9x processor

The iPad has a lower screen resolution, and so should not require that much ram or as powerful a processor on paper (you are basically powering half the pixels).

I was thinking 3 gb ram as a possibility earlier too. I think if there's a big $200 difference between the 12.9" and the 9.7" then it would be logical to do something along the lines you suggest. If they go for only a $100 difference then it will surely get the A9x and 4gb ram.
