Will the 'old' style magsafe work with 2011 MBP?

I need to purchase a 2nd magsafe charger, as I plan on having one dedicated to my dock. Instead of shelling out $90 for a new Apple one, I am thinking about buying used or generic.

Would a old style 85w magsafe work fine with my 2011 MBP?

Hmm, I should have followed the link. I assumed he was buying an older, second-hand, Apple charger off eBay. Not some sketchy knock off.

Yea, they can really damage the circuit and would effect warranty.

Thanks all. The image I posted is for an Apple genuine charger, just from a used computer. I agree that generic sounds a little sketchy, unless others has really good experiences with them.
