Hi,

I have this irrational fear of iphones bending.. have there been any tests done on this and will it bend with normal use or putting it in your front pocket?

Thanks!

It won’t bend with normal use. Watch the video. Look how much pressure he puts on the phone. Nothing happens. He does this for every new phone release. You’ll be all set. Don’t worry about bending.

Try to avoid putting your phone in your back pocket. I think that’s where most phones get broken or bent out of shape.

I always keep mine in my front pocket, as I’ve ive almost sat my phone the one time I kept it in my back pocket :p

It’d say it’s the least likely to bend on the market. This is made with stainless steel which is far tougher then aluminium that other devices use.

Ser Gregor Clegane would have a tough time trying to bend it.

not the pro Max it could be used to bludgeon people with. Maybe an aluminum iPhone could bend I dunno

Very true, have dropped it on my face a few times at night and it felt like I had been bludgeoned.

HAHAHAH Thanks.

I slept on it and the irrational fear came back again..

I wouldn't worry about the phone bending. Just don't sit on it or put any weird stresses on it.

The iPad Pro is a different story. Those can come bent out of the box or bend over time on its own without any phhhyscial damage.
