Will the refurb products ship with lion?

    or will there be some lag while the snow leopard stuff sold off.

    I wish to buy a refurbished iMac so what are the chances the CTO guys put the new OS on after release?

    I have consistently gotten the latest OS, even just after its release, when buying a refurb from apple.

    They won't have Lion unless the unit you buy originally shipped with Lion.

    darn it.
    i had a sneaking suspicion that would be the case.

    It's only $29 and once you buy it you own it forever and can install it on as many Macs as you want; if it was priced like Windows I'd be a bit more worried ;)

    You'll get a free phrase to Lion whenever it comes out, but you'll have to do it yourself.

    thanks for the advice. i was just hoping to acquire some lion install dvds as it just feels right compared to owning an ethereal app! silly i know.
